Ein großes Smartphone braucht ein großes Toolkit? Erneut kann den Leuten durch die XDA-Developer geholfen werden. Ein Tool-Paket mit sehr großer Ausstattung steht ab sofort für das Samsung Galaxy Note II zum Download zur Verfügung. Ob es um ein einfaches Backup geht oder das Flashen einer Custom-ROM, mit diesem Tool erledigt sich fast alles von allein. Einige Features sind noch nicht funktionsfähig, man kann aber sicher sein, dass diese eher früher als später zum Laufen gebracht werden.

Wie immer sollte man solche Tools nur nutzen, wenn man zumindest halbwegs mit der Sache vertraut ist. Bei Eingriffen ins System kann jederzeit etwas schief gehen, und im schlimmsten Fall geht auch die Garantie flöten. Ist man ann in der Situation, dass das Gerät nicht mehr läuft, hat man ein Problem. Wer das Toolkit nutzen möchte, findet den Download im XDA-Developer-Forum. Es ist kostenlos, es gibt aber die Möglichkeit, die Donator-Version frei zu schalten. Extra Features bringt diese nicht, nur das Toolkit wird mit Auto-Updates versorgt, und es gibt Tipps zu den einzelnen Funktionen. (via)
