Mediafire: Android-App ab sofort mit Audio- und Videostreaming

Die Android-App die Online-Speicherdienstes MediaFire unterstützt ab sofort das Abspielen von Mediadateien.

MediaFire gehört netzweit zu den beliebtesten Cloudspeicherdiensten. Wie das Unternehmen heute in einer Pressemitteilung bekannt gegeben hat, umfasst die Nutzerbasis mittlerweile 30 Millionen Konsumenten.

Zugleich verkündete es ein Update für die mobilen Applikationen, die es u.a. für iOS und Android gibt: Ab heute wird ein Update zugänglich gemacht, das in den Apps einen Media-Player zum Streamen von Audio- oder Videodateien in der MediaFire-Cloud implementiert.

Bis jetzt scheint das Update aber noch nicht im Google Play Store angekommen zu sein. Das letzte Update der App datiert auf den 07. Mai. In den kommenden Tagen sollte die aktualisierte App dort aber verfügbar gemacht werden. Zu sehen ist dort auch, dass sich die Nutzung der Android-App bislang noch in Grenzen hält.
